Dash’s Donair Recipe – Allrecipes.com

This is the recipe I use all the time. I make the meat in a long loaf pan, cut it in half and then slice it with an electric knife from the side, it makes the slices into rectangular shaped slices. I also wet the pitas on both side a bit before I throw them onto the hot skillet, it makes them pliable and soft inside and a bit crispy on the outside.
